Meet Detola, the powerhouse behind Empowering Mothers. As a Women Leadership and Productivity coach, she’s on a mission to empower Kingdom women, especially mothers, to lead and live a life of significance.

Detola is renowned for her ability to ACTIVATE Kingdom Women, inspiring them to live and lead with purpose. She is a multifaceted and multi-entrepreneur who is also a Certified Maxwell Leadership Coach, Speaker & Trainer, Certified Maxwell DISC Behavioural Trainer and a Certified Grief & Loss Specialist.

On top of that, she’s a gifted writer, hosting the Birth Your Dreams with Detola show on YouTube and co-hosting the popular When Life Stops Podcast. Not to mention, she’s also an accomplished author with four inspiring books and four journals to her name.

As CEO of Super Working Mum, a global organisation, Detola empowers overwhelmed Kingdom Mothers to maximise their time so that they can manifest their God-given dreams. Additionally, she’s the compassionate founder of My Little Warrior Child foundation, providing support to bereaved parents.

Detola’s passion for facilitating retreats is undeniable, with two annual events: a powerful prayer retreat and a transformative goal-setting retreat that empowers women with strategic planning. Her wisdom has been featured on various media platforms, including UCB and Turning Point International.

With Empowering Mothers Ministry, Detola has embraced her divine mandate to bring back Esthers to their King.

Beyond her incredible work, Detola finds joy in reading, writing, traveling, and cherishing quality time with her loved ones. She is a loving wife and a proud mother of four, including one precious child who resides in heaven.

 

Shaneen Clarke

Shaneen Clarke is an author, motivational speaker and life coach who embraces this unyielding belief; we all carry within us extraordinary value and purpose.

For over 30 years, Shaneen has been dedicated to the equipping of men and women around the world to live whole heartedly in the truth of who they are born to be. Her mission is to help each person to live out their best life, and support those who suffer from a fear of failure in finding freedom, embracing a purpose driven tomorrow.

In an ever-changing world our emotions can sometimes spiral. How do we take back control of our future? What is the secret to reaching attainable goals? Through Shaneen’s practical wisdom and down-to-earth approach, coupled with her great sense of humour, audiences discover how to conquer procrastination, turn pain into strength and tap into their source of courage and confidence.

Born in London, Shaneen Clarke hails of Indian descent; her background rooted in Hindu Punjabi heritage. While belief and spiritually played an active role in her life from an early age, it wasn’t until her teenage years that Shaneen made a conscious decision to commit herself to the Christian faith, after many years of feeling caught between the teachings of Jesus and traditions of her family heritage. 

A sought-after speaker, Shaneen counts it a great privilege to inspire and motivate individuals from all walks of life, speaking in the most exclusive private schools, universities, international faith conferences and corporate events. In 2017, she addressed Italian Senators in Rome on the subject of femicide. Her seminars and coaching insights have impacted viewers through her television and radio appearances including CBN’s 700 Club, Premier Christian Radio, TBN, God TV and Daystar with Joni Lamb.

Previously, Shaneen hosted an annual invitation-only afternoon tea gathering for women in business at The Ritz (London), with guest speakers that included Cheri Blair, Jonathan Akin and Baroness Cox. An accomplished author, her books “Dare to be Great” and “The Lord of the Silence” are available in four languages.

Shaneen and her husband, Martin, have two children and live in Oxfordshire, surrounded by England’s beautiful countryside.

Yemi Adegbile

Fertility Specialist

Mountain of Influence: Family

Yemi Adegbile is a dedicated professional with a rich background in women’s health, boasting extensive training in the field. As a Fertility Nurse Consultant at a private clinic, Yemi finds immense satisfaction in her role within a nurse-led environment, where she expertly oversees her patient caseload from initiation to completion.

With a remarkable career spanning over twenty-five years in Fertility, including a previous Lead nurse position at a private clinic, Yemi’s expertise is undeniable. Her true passion lies in addressing the inequalities faced by the Black and Ethnic community in accessing fertility treatment due to cultural stigma and socio-economic challenges. To address this issue, she established FertilityOneStop, a charity focused on guiding couples through their fertility journey.

Yemi is fervent about raising awareness on fertility matters, sharing her knowledge in various settings including churches, social events, women’s meetings, schools, and conferences.

Beyond her professional commitments, Yemi extends her support to overseas patients and foreign embassies, ensuring they receive the necessary guidance while undergoing treatment.

A devout Christian, Yemi treasures her role as a loving wife and a proud mother of three adult children.

 

Joy Akinwonmi

Parenting Coach

Joy, is the visionary force behind Arrowsnarchers, which she has been running for 7 years. As the founder of this transformative leadership academy and parenting community, she empowers Christian parents to embrace leadership excellence and transformative parenting. Her roles as a skilled equipper, nurturing mentor, and adept organiser is expressed seamlessly in family and youth development, coaching, mentoring, and impactful storytelling through both speaking and writing.

Joy wears multiple hats as the vibrant host of the “Storytelling for Parenting” podcast and the “I am Designed To Win Podcast.” She extends her nurturing influence through the I am Designed To Win community, providing solace and growth opportunities for young Christian women navigating challenging pasts to lead purposeful lives.

With degrees in The Management of Training and Development, Organisational Development & Design, and the French Language, Joy is a seasoned Management Consultant serving a 7,000-strong organisation. With nearly two decades of expertise in coaching, strategy, culture development, and training, her impact is far-reaching.

Joy has authored five influential books, including “Discover to Grow for Parents” and “My Book of Daily Confessions for Children”.

Among her passions are writing, reading, travelling and conducting research.

She is happily married to the coolest guy on the earth and they are blessed with three children.

 

Olufolake Ayeyemi

Neurodiversity Coordinator

Mountain of Influence: Family 

Olufolake Ayeyemi coordinates the Moriah Family Support Group, offering confidential assistance to parents of children and young individuals (0-25) with additional needs, particularly within Black and Asian Ethnic Backgrounds. As a parent representative, she collaborates with fellow parents and professionals to voice parental perspectives and enhance the provision of services for families in Portsmouth.

Olufolake also serves as the Neurodiversity Coordinator for the Neurodiversity in Schools project at Portsmouth Parent Voice. This parent carers forum focuses on supporting parents of young individuals (0-25) with additional needs and disabilities, facilitating feedback, and enhancing local service accessibility.

In her leisure, Olufolake enjoys baking and indulging in audiobooks.

Olufolake is married to Ajibola and they are blessed with two beautiful daughters.

Funke Bella

Diagnostic Radiographer & MC 

Mountain of Influence: Arts & Entertainment

Funke Bella, is married with 2 children. A full-time General Radiographer at a London NHS Trust, who excels in her role as a Reporting Radiographer, conducting specialised procedures within the Radiology department. She boasts expertise in multiple Imaging Modalities, particularly producing comprehensive reports on MSK and HSG images.

Her journey began in 2008 when she qualified as a Diagnostic Radiographer, further enhancing her skills with a PgCert in Mammographic studies in 2011. After taking a step back to focus on family, Funke resumed her educational pursuits, completing a PgDip in Clinical Reporting (MSK) in 2021, followed by a stand-alone clinical reporting module for HSG in 2023.

Beyond her medical career, Funke has a flair for hosting, serving as an MC and Alaga (Traditional Wedding Compere) alongside her husband Tunde, also known as Mr Fantastic, under the brand name TheBellasurhosts. They co-host diverse events like weddings, birthdays, fashion shows, and charitable functions.

Funke joined The SuperWorkingMum community officially in 2020 post The Slay Doubt challenge after looking in through the window for many years. She embraced the platform which has helped her to maximise her time, manifest her dreams, and achieve full potential in her mountain of influence

 

Jale Burch

Retired Nurse Specialist

Mountain of Influence: Health, Wellbeing & Religion

Jale is a dedicated wife and a mother of two daughters. She is also blessed with a 9-year-old grandson. For an impressive span of 32 years, Jale served as a compassionate nurse, leaving an indelible mark on countless lives. During the final 17 years of her esteemed career, she specialised as a cancer nurse, guiding patients with unwavering support and expertise.

In a pivotal turn last July, guided by her profound faith, Jale embraced retirement, sensing God’s gentle nudge toward a new chapter of her journey. In October of the same year, she established a community cancer support group, utilising the skills she had honed during her nursing career. She sees this new move as a good way to support the local community around her church.

Jale’s excitement is palpable as she embarks on this new life chapter. Strengthened by her deepening trust in God, unexpected doors are swinging open before her eyes, reminding her that He never presents challenges beyond what can be overcome.

Through her life’s journey, Jale has learned to rely on God’s guidance and unwavering support, finding solace in the knowledge that He provides strength in every circumstance. With her heart wide open to the opportunities ahead, she eagerly anticipates the path that God has laid out for her.

 

Goz Nduka

Skincare & Beauty Coach 

Mountain of Influence: Business

Ngozi (Goz) Nduka is a dual qualified Solicitor (Nigeria and UK) with an LLM from the University of Birmingham in the UK. She currently works in-house as a contract lawyer in the financial services sector in the United Kingdom.

Passionate about advocating for children with special needs, Goz is a parent to a child with special needs and volunteers with an organisation providing free legal advice and advocacy to parents and carers of children with special educational needs (SEN). She champions the right education and tools for these children to ensure a future of independence.

Amid the pandemic in April 2020, Goz found a new calling as an independent beauty consultant with Mary Kay, a skincare and beauty company. Alongside her legal work, she discovered her talent in teaching skincare and supporting individuals with specific skincare needs. Rising through the ranks, she became an Independent Sales Director and business leader, mentoring and guiding others in their ventures.

Goz attributes her journey with Mary Kay to restoring her sanity during the pandemic’s early months and facilitating positive changes in her child’s special needs journey. This transformation has empowered her to support fellow mothers navigating similar paths and assisting women in building successful businesses.

Embracing Mary Kay’s ethos of ‘God first, family second, and then career,’ Goz’s story exemplifies resilience and inspiring personal growth.

 

 

Emily Odoi

Senior Manager Voice Products, BT

Mountain of Influence: Career

Emily is an accomplished product management lead with a remarkable 18-year tenure in the telecoms and IT sector. A significant portion of her career, spanning 12 years, has been dedicated to crafting and supporting innovative products and services for global businesses. Her passion is to take a business idea from concept into a real, tangible service and improving it from there.

Currently serving as a Senior Manager at BT, Emily oversees a team of adept product managers and holds a pivotal role in shaping and executing BT’s strategy for voice, contact centre, and collaboration services. Her influence extends across both national and international business landscapes.

A natural problem solver, Emily derives immense satisfaction from helping individuals achieve their goals. She actively mentors through organisations like the Aleto Foundation, nurturing leadership skills in young minds, and the Digital Boost program, extending guidance to small business owners.

Emily has a BSc in Software Engineering and an MSc in Business System Analysis and Design. Beyond her professional engagements, she is a member of the Super Working Mum Academy Plus and a dedicated mother of two. Balancing her commitments, Emily finds solace in long walks and running. Notably, in October 2022, she embraced the challenge of running the London Marathon, raising a commendable £2400 for a local charity.

 

Funmi Onamusi

Career Strategist, Chief People Officer

Mountain of Influence: Career 

Funmi assumed the role of Chief People Officer at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in April 2023, marking a pivotal step in her 20-year career journey encompassing both consulting and industry domains. With a wealth of experience, she excels in strategic human resources, workforce development, EDI, and organisational development, in addition to her prowess in talent management and coaching.

Having previously served as Director of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Funmi played a significant role in championing inclusion for a diverse workforce of 14,000 and serving 1 million patients. Notably, she spearheaded the formulation of the Trust’s Roadmap to Inclusion 2022-2024, an initiative that outlines the path towards fostering a more inclusive environment at King’s.

Prior to her tenure at King’s, Funmi contributed her expertise to the global management consultancy EY (formerly Ernst & Young), where she was integral to the workforce transformation team. Her multifaceted journey also includes serving as Director of HR and Operations within the charity sector.

Funmi’s credentials include an MBA in Strategy & Human Resource Management, reflecting her dedication to holistic professional development. She holds the esteemed position of Chartered Fellow in CIPD, symbolising her unwavering commitment to advancing the field of human resources.

 

Emilola Shyllon

Content Writer, Author & Speaker

Emilola is a passionate cultivator of life-affirming words. Her foundational belief centers on uplifting individuals, either through her writing or the design of interior spaces that foster personal well-being.

An accomplished author, poet, ghostwriter, interior stylist, speaker and MC, Emilola’s creative spectrum is wide-ranging. The brain behind the “DNA: Desired Not Abandoned” brand, her offerings include a diverse array of products, from journals and decks of encouragement cards to hoodies, T-shirts, and jewellery, all under the DNA umbrella.

Among her published works are “Write, Read, Run: Prophetic Journal” and insightful 31-day devotionals such as “Springs of Living Water,” and “Hope: My Soul’s Anchor”.

Beyond her literary pursuits, Emilola’s interior styling extends into coaching and mentoring, helping individuals declutter and establish tranquil surroundings that nurture their best selves.

A pivotal figure in her local community, she serves on the core leadership team of her home church and holds a trustee position on another board.
